The Common Network

Who would you call if you needed a...doctor?...tutor?...directions or a ride?

When we don't know how to get from point A to point B, we use our network to find someone who does. Those who are part of Oklahoma City's refugee community often don't have these connections. But you can help.

The Common Network is a community of compassionate professionals, parents, and everyday people who can help point our new neighbors in the right direction. It's a different type of volunteer opportunity. Through The Common Network, you leverage the life you're already living, professionally and socially, to help our new neighbors assimilate into our city.

Adult Education

English Classes, one-on-one tutoring, and Citizenship Classes provide adults in the community access to welcoming, tailored instruction and support.

You can be part in helping our new neighbors learn a new language through in-class activities or by tutoring.

After School Program

After school homework assistance, one-on-one tutoring, and an educational Youth Summer Program ensure that our new neighbors have the support they need to achieve academic success. Help students at our weekly activities.

Join with us.

Attend an informational & training session to learn more about the refugee community and how our programs operate. After training, get plugged into the area you would like to serve!
