TO OUR SPERO COMMUNITY,

We are so grateful for your presence with Spero and, most importantly, with our neighbors over the past year. It has been the most challenging year in Spero’s lifetime with programs and policies causing fear, anger, and disbelief in those so deeply impacted. However, we continue to find strength and encouragement together with each of you who are standing in support of our incredible neighbors.

We must step in to keep our promises to neighbors – no matter what happens to federal programs. In this time of catastrophic consequence for those waiting and hoping for safety, we must do everything we can. We will not abandon our neighbors. Spero has experienced significant budget cuts due to loss of federal funding, but we are so grateful for the community around us offering generous support to ensure vital programs continue so that neighbors have everything they need to flourish as they navigate this new life. In the midst of devastating federal funding cuts, we are consistently reminded in the power of community. Thank you for all the ways you, our community, are walking alongside neighbors and standing strong for a city of welcome and hope!
