Foster Care Q&A Class, May 17th
From holding a resource drive, to mentoring, to fostering a child in your home, there are many ways to care for the fatherless in Oklahoma City. Join us on Tuesday, May 17th at 7p.m. to learn how you can play a part in impacting a child.
Schedule
7:00-7:45 Hear from agencies (private and state) offering varying forms of services to foster children. Each agency will give a brief, but thorough description of what it would mean to partner with them in caring for foster children.
7:45-8:15 Agency booths open. Get specific questions answered, sign up to be involved, or simply to receive more information.
8:15-8:30 Campus meetings. If you are from a LifeChurch.tv metro campus, meet as a group to discuss how foster care ministry will be engaged on your campus.

Legacy Teams
If you decide to Foster or Adopt a child, this program is for you! Simply invite 5-7 of your closest friends and family who are a natural support network for you to be part of your Legacy Team. From there, Spero:Legacy will provide them with a two-evening educational program, helping them understand the Foster Care or Adoption process and how to support you during this time with both tangible and intangible support. Further, your Legacy Team will be given access to qualified volunteers who can answer questions for them as they walk along you in your process. Spero:Legacy is able to accept requests for two Legacy Team trainings per month. To request a Legacy Team training, please contact kim@thesperoproject.com.
